21 Candidates Advance to The Final Round

YF Life Insurance International Ltd. (YF Life) is delighted to announces the successful conclusion of the 2nd round competition of the 2025 YF Life Jr. Space Camp Program, which the company fully sponsors and organizes. Throughout this phase of the competition, the 50 exceptionally talented shortlisted candidates participated in three intellectually stimulating and physically demanding challenges. Ultimately, 21 individuals have successfully advanced to the final interview, scheduled for the next month. From these finalists, eight winners will be selected by the program’s distinguished panel of honorary patrons and judges to become this year’s YF Life Jr. Astronauts of the year.

Established in 1999, the YF Life Jr. Space Camp Program is the first program in Hong Kong and Macau offering children simulated astronaut training. The program has consistently garnered strong support from all sectors of society. Through its innovative and unique training methods, the Program aims to

• Enhance children’s interest in space exploration and advanced technology
• Cultivate a spirit of perseverance and courage to break through personal limitations 
• Inspire them to embody the “It is Possible!” spirit

The selection process culminates in the appointment of eight finalists as YF Life Jr. Astronauts. These eight, along with a parent, will embark on a 9-day U.S. Space-Exploration Journey this summer.
