Why might cancer recoverers consider the "CritiCare Continuation Cancer Insurance Plan"?
Many cancer recoverers, when seeking critical illness coverage, often face difficulties such as being declined coverage or having to pay high premium loadings due to their past medical history. Traditional insurance plans finds it difficult to offer comprehensive protection to those who have previously been diagnosed with cancer.
The "CritiCare Continuation Cancer Insurance Plan" breaks through these traditional barriers. Specifically designed for cancer recoverers, it provides continued critical illness coverage to help the Insured rebuild their critical illnesses safety net and extend their health protection.
Is a medical examination required to apply for this plan? Is the underwriting procedure complicated?
No, it is not. This plan adopts a simplified underwriting procedure. As long as the Insured is a cancer recoverer and is either a non-smoker or has not smoked within the past 12 months, you are only required to answer a few simple health underwriting questions. No medical examination is required to complete the application, which significantly lowers the entry threshold for cancer recoverers.
Does the plan only cover cancer recurrences?
No, this is a comprehensive participating critical illness insurance plan, rather than a standalone cancer insurance plan. Recognizing that cancer recoverers are deeply concerned about their long-term health and financial stability, this plan provides extensive coverage for up to 149 critical illnesses. This includes 68 Major Critical Illnesses, 50 Early Stage Diseases, and 31 Carcinoma-in-situ/ Early Stage Cancers. This plan also features Cancer Income Benefit, Experimental Drugs Benefit, and Mental Incapacity Advance Instruction Option. Please refer to the product brochure for details.
